Coates Franklin Ltd was set up in April 2000 since when we have had an ever-increasing number of happy and satisfied clients.  Click on Testimonials to see the many recommendations we receive from our clients.

We only deal with small businesses and have a special department which focuses solely on contractors and consultants.  We are a friendly, approachable bunch who won’t try to confuse you will technical jargon.

If you are a small business or a contractor/consultant we can offer you all the services you are likely to need.  We also have good contacts for non-accountancy areas that you may require, e.g. mortgages, pensions and insurance.

The director and owner of Coates Franklin Ltd is Steve Coates BSc, DPS, ACA, CTA.  Steve spent 10 years learning the ropes with two of the largest accountancy firms in the world – KPMG and Ernst & Young.  During this time, Steve qualified as both a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).  Steve then spent two years with East Midlands firm Cooper Parry where he was in charge of identifying tax planning opportunities for small businesses.  See also Steve’s LinkedIn page for more information on Steve.
